Department of Homeland Security - Science & Technology DirectorateInternational Forum to Advance First Responder Innovation (IFAFRI) is an organization of international government leaders focused on enhancing and expanding the development of affordable, innovative technology for first responders worldwide. Representation to IFAFRI is comprised of members from Australia, Canada, the European Commission, Finland, Germany, Israel, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, The Netherlands, United Kingdom, and the United States.• Advised key stakeholders within the R&D arm of the Department of Homeland Security.• Responsible for working with technology users, industry stakeholders, and academic influencers to gain insight into ways to address and close capability gaps in homeland security.• Fosters homeland security solutions development by soliciting input and guidance from international industry and responder trade associations.• Promotes the agenda of the Science & Technology Directorate IFAFRI through engagements with DHS stakeholders and outside partners.

Member of Jacksonville Community Council’s ReThink Aging inquiry management team. Team is made up of Executive-level members of local non-profit and for profit corporations. The inquiry is designed to maximize the quality of life for all older adults and make Northeast Florida an age-friendly region.

• Head operations for five Walgreen drugstores in varying markets with different and unique sets of obstacles. Involved in every step of the process, establishing major advertising pushes,and redefining the role of the drugstore in the community. Responsible for growing current fiscal sales by nearly 18%. • Member of the Department of Health’s Healthy Jacksonville Program in Zone One, sitting on five councils and committees. Work with government officials, citizens, non-profits, and corporations to develop plans and execute projects to help in health related fields.• Execute the regional Walgreens Community Kiosk program. Identify community health partners, ensure buy-in, communicate expectations, and monitor progress to keep program on a timeline that was agreed to by all partners. Program consists of local/state government officials, non-profit, and for profit corporations.• Currently serving as the Market Lead on three large scale corporate campaigns. Strategically plan and ensure execution of Senior Outreach, Medicare Part D, and Diabetes platforms across 500 drugstore locations in the Southern division. Establish relationships by growing the Walgreens footprint in the community, and also launch ventures with like minded companies.• Monitor store customer service and employee engagement levels to recognize great service, and target underperformers. Communicate the results of both our “Delight” and Q12 surveys, analyze strengths/weaknesses, implement corrective action plans, and then follow up to adjust plans if necessary.• Control supply chain decisions to ensure cost savings while maintaining proper in stock conditions. Analyze report data to understand customer-buying patterns and provide recommendations of trends without increasing carrying costs by creating unnecessary overstock. Monitor inventory levels to mitigate risk by keeping book inventories at acceptable levels.• Manage Human Resource decisions and all other human capital assessments.
