After completing my military service of 7 years in the IDF, I set on a unique journey, hiking the PCT (Pacific Crest Trail) from the Mexican border of the USA up to the Canadian border. This journey took me 5 months to complete and through that time I was able to focus my interests and prioritize my professional goals. I knew that I wanted to be more involved in environmental issues and to be able to use my previous experience to do so. Although it was not an easy task, I found a company that was willing to take the chance on me and I started working for a renewable energy company.After successfully leading the company's expansion abroad, I was given the opportunity to go study abroad in Japan after receiving the MEXT scholarship from the Japanese government. Although I had just started working in a new field (i.e. renewable energy), I knew this was not an opportunity to pass on, and I made my way to Nagoya, Japan where I currently reside.These two experiences, starting from scratch in a new field of interest, and having to learn "on the go" and perform in a highly experienced environment, and moving across the world to pursue an old dream, have made me realize that I have much to contribute and that I'm able to adjust rapidly to a new and challenging environment.I am currently looking for exciting new opportunities, especially in the field of sustainable development. I think that the wide array of experience and skills that I accumulated in both my personal and professional life can add great value to any organization.
