Supporting the largest agencies in the state of Oregon, I provided leadership, management, and expertise on all aspects of information security within both agencies (ODHS and OHA) serving as a subject matter expert.

Providing security expertise in areas such as software development, access and control methodologies, operations, continuity planning, and the entire system life cycle. Assist in ensuring that business security requirements are accurately reflected in technical specifications and that the department has appropriate security integration throughout all system development. Playing a key role in the security design, development, testing and implementation of complex security infrastructures.Serving as a chief architect and consultant for ongoing security related activities. Ensuring the provision of appropriate access to and protection of the confidentiality and integrity of ODHS/OHA information in compliance with federal/state regulations, department security policies, and standards and contractual obligations. Assisting the Information Security Officer in the overall security of ODHS/OHA computer systems, networks and business continuity planning. Consultant for computer security issues. Providing technical guidance for the development and implementation of departmental security policies and procedures. Developing and reviewing security requirements for initiatives and projects as needed.
