Promotes/sells/secures orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach. Demonstrates products and services to existing/potential customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs. Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organization’s products/services. Analyzes the territories and markets potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers’ value to the organization.

Serve as a liaison between the Congressman and federal departments, government agencies, or organizations. Coordinate various activities and programs in assigned area of responsibility with governmental agencies and private/non-profit entities. Represent the Congressman at various governmental and citizen group meetings; make presentation on various programs and services provided.

Receive, review and investigate concerns from the public. Provide advice and assistance to groups or individuals in obtaining services or resolving complaints.Supervise/coordinate the work of district field representatives and support staff. Provide policy/procedure advice and direction to staff. May evaluate work and prepare performance evaluations.Assist Chief of Staff in conferring with officials of various local, state, and federal agencies concerning proposed or pending legislation that might impact assigned Supervisor’s constituents.
