I am an educator and positive youth development professional with over 15 years experience in the higher education, secondary school, not-for-profit and community sectors in Australia.I am passionate about using strengths and values based approaches to create enriching learning environments and communities and for mentoring students to achieve their goals and navigate life transition stages. I also enjoy motivating and mentoring teams towards peak performance and goal achievement.I have extensive experience in managing mentoring programs, designing and facilitating training programs, managing and inspiring teams, leading projects and events, volunteer management and community building.I love leading projects and contributing to organisations (both professionally and in a volunteer capacity) which support inclusion, wellbeing and systemic change and track impact and reach via evaluation and research.I am a certified Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructor (*with Mental Health First Aid Australia) and Mindful Education Teacher with Mindful Schools (USA). I have successfully piloted a mindfulness and leadership program for students at the University of NSW (UNSW).Some of my other interests include authentic leadership, active citizenship, wellbeing, positive education, social and emotional learning, compassion cultivation and community-based rites of passage for boys and young men.
