Current👉 Managing the communications and public affairs of all 25 departments and authorities 👉 Work with both Israeli and international press - Simultaneously initiating opportunities to collaborate with government authorities and ministries, defense industries, the IDF and other institutions within Israel’s defense establishment. 👉 Leading media strategies and crisis management at the national level surrounding issues such as the defense budget, American military funding, defense procurement and exports, R&D, international agreements, the establishment of IDF bases in the Negev region, the “One Soul” reform for IDF veterans, relations with the workers’ union and more. 👉 Establishing and managing the Ministry’s social media presence in Hebrew and in English👉 Building the Ministry’s websites and daily activities on various online platforms. Issuing a directive to monitor and adopt trends at an early stage in order to reach new and relevant audiences👉 Leading branding processes for the various departments within the Ministry. 👉 Establishing a department of approximately 25 employees and consultants – a dynamic department that constantly adapted to the ever-changing world of media and communications👉 Managing the spokesperson’s budget that amounts to approximately NIS 4 million per year.👉 Overseeing the Public Affairs Unit, including managing the implementation the Freedom of Information Act. Leading the development and implementation of a “CRM” system for “institutional memory,” and setting up a protocol vis-à-vis handling and responding to public inquiries. 👉 Leading national communications strategies in the case of unconventional terror incidents
