My responsibilities included, but not limited to: co-teaching the middle and high school ESL classes, creating and implementing varied lesson plans with core teachers, organizing and maintaining structured classroom pull-out/ push-in small group schedule, conducting Professional Development ELL Accommodation sessions, maintaining compliance with IDoE ELL state standards.

My responsibilities included, but were not limited to: creating literature, vocabulary, and current event lessons, holding independent small group instruction, co-teaching the ESL Humanities class, translating and interpreting for parent- teacher conferences, meetings, phone calls, etc.

The Dream Academy is a summer program for children of migrant families. It serves as not only a summer school/ academic support, but also provides them with opportunities like field trips, food assistance, and health benefits.Temporary Recruiter- Identified and interviewed families, created and uploaded certificates of eligibility.Family and Community Liaison- Linked students and their parents with resources such as free or reduced health screenings, educational programs, and food/clothing assistance. Also organized and executed a PAC meeting that hosted the WVEC Dream Team and our migrant families.9-12th grade and Out of School Youth Instructor- Enrolled students in courses for credit, driver's ed. programs, test prep. programs, etc., facilitated tutoring, partnered with local GED and ESL programs.
