1. Measure the impact of genetic correlation structure for an NIH funded study about the portability of genetic research across populations of different ancestry. This research was presented at five conferences, and a paper will be sent for publication in the next couple of months.2. Conduct statistical analysis to explore immune genes associated with COVID-19 as part of the Michigan Genomics Initiative effort to contribute to the COVID-19 Host Genetics Initiative (more about the initiative here https://www.covid19hg.org). 3. Taught coding labs for the course “Biostatistics Methods in Epidemiology” for the Masters in Epidemiology

1. Consulting in statistical methodology, statistical analysis, design of experiments, and science communication for industry, physicians, and non-profit organizations. The deliverables include technical documents, statistical tools used by non-statistical staff, research papers, and seminars.2. Co-wrote the sample size calculation section of the technical document used to measure TV ratings by the second-largest TV network company in Mexico.3. Designed, analyzed data, and wrote the methods section of the study to explore the relationship of diet and acne for a group of clinicians located in Latin America, Spain, and Portugal. Accepted for publication in September 2020. 4. Designed and programed a sample size calculator that is used in a behavioral economics consulting firm.5. Analyzed data to asses the difference of two methods to prevent neurological damage from asphyxia in newborns.
