Responsible for managing business development and marketing activities within the Georgia and South Carolina markets including strategic planning, development and implementation of capture planning for top clients and pursuits, development and implementation of the regional marketing plan, growing brand awareness, lead generation, market research, external/client communication, and press and media collaboration.

Systems implementation services on a variety of construction projects including complex, large-scale mega programs and single building projects. Researched, advised, implemented and maintained web-based program controls systems that comprise document management, business process (workflow) development and management, budget/cost and scheduling functions.

Responsible for directing and managing internal and external communications for the Midwest region through business plan/budget development, branding, advertising, public relations and marketing collateral production. Specific responsibilities included direct supervision of business development support staff functions, such as creating and monitoring a process within department to ensure efficient workflow to meet deadlines and balancing short-term proposal priorities with long-term regional marketing initiatives; assisting business development managers with client pursuits, which consisted of participating in regional go/no go and strategy development sessions, writing select proposal sections and proposal creativity, participating in presentation development rehearsals and incorporating innovating approaches that differentiated and positioned the firm. Other responsibilities included preparing and leading regional strategic marketing plan initiatives as part of regional business plan; tracking market trends and competitor information as it related to key marketing initiatives.

Established RFP response protocol and managed proposal/presentation process, which included designing and writing the company’s response; designed, composed and implemented marketing initiatives, including direct mail pieces, press releases, advertisements, marketing collateral, etc.; coordinating client related events, such as tradeshows, speaking engagements, dinners, etc. Created and managed the company’s projects and resume databases; administered the company’s CRM system; maintained the company website.
