• Prospecting new clients in terms of conferencing and accommodation• Managing a portfolio of accounts • Assisting the Conference Manager with conference and event management• Attending Central London Market Place Conference Referral Meetings (referred £20.5k worth of business out of £26.9k within the network in the first 6 months of 2008; £28.9k of £77k in 2007)• Attending bi-monthly Sales Review Meetings between Mercure London City Bankside and Novotel London City South• Representing the hotel at ACCOR UK Sales Conferences• Assisting in the preparation of the hotel’s annual Budget pack• Assisting in CO level (corporate rates) and LDR (leisure) rate loading into ASA (Accor Sales Application) Sales and ASA Tariffs• Maintaining the hotel’s online profile on various websites (accorhotels.com; ABC Connections, StarCite etc.)• Cooperating with local trade and marketing organisations to promote the hotel (e.g. Better Bankside, Visit Southwark)• Liaising with ACCOR UK Marketing Department to maintain corporate identity• Design, production and distribution of promotional materials (flyers, brochures, menus)• Design of tactical advertising banners, brochures (eg.
