Welcome! I'm Orsi and I'm from Hungary. The language in which I am native is Hungarian, one of the most difficult in the world. How does this matter? For me to learn a language I need to start from zero. Imagine how difficult it would be if your native language and the language you want to learn didn't have any connection.I found out about this difficulty after I lost it. It's gone. Here is what happened.Languages are my passion. Growing up, I was fascinated by German and wanted to study it because my father worked there. My school program involved four years of studying Russian; however, I am not familiar with that language. High school was a difficult time for me because I struggled with German and English. Then I came across Italian which wasn’t easy at all, but it was love at first sight (un colpo di fulmine - as Italians say).My experience learning Spanish a couple of years ago made me realize how easy it is to master a language when it has a connection to another language you speak.Do you know why I'm telling you all this? Due to my background as a life-long language learner with Hungarian as my native language, I understand the difficulties you encounter when learning a new language.It is my privilege to speak Italian, English, Spanish, and German - in this order. :) Italian and English are my strengths … and Hungarian of course.I spent many years in tourism while telling stories about my home country as a tour guide.My educational background includes an MA in English and German translation and Italian interpretation, as well as 7 language exams at different levels.
