• System improvement for better transmission.• Follow ups with the Duty supervisors about ongoing transmission.• Planning and coordinating for multiple Live events at various channels..• Working on a file based server system (DV format, and server based MPEG2 format with mixed 2 channels audio to 8 channels multi language audio).• Managing Broadcast Servers , Nexio, airbox, •• Coordinate with Broadcast I.T. & Engineering departments in case of glitches and blackouts. • Ensuring reports of day to day activities are in place.• Managing Supervisors and assign individual responsibility.• Giving prompt response during breakdowns and maintaining On-Air programming.• Keeping track of frequent errors and come up with solutions after finding root cause of problem.• Managing Feed Room team to send and receive feeds from various location with different resources (OB’s/LiveU, Tandberg Encoder & Receivers).• Technical Quality Check of all Satellite Feeds, ingested material and effectively utilizing recording and playback resources to record multiple feeds.• Coordinate with team for recording of satellite feeds both on tape and server after ensuring proper quality requirements are met.• Ensuring space availability on the server domains so that recording and pullback of archived content is not obstructed.• Reporting feed errors like blackouts/breaks in the feed received and communicating with I.T./Library/editors/News Assignment/Editorial to get the problem rectified.

• Ensures that broadcast material is available in a timely .- • Reports missing media and other schedule discrepancies to the concerned department.- • Builds instant backup list in case of main play-out system failure.- • Monitors all channel components such as audio, .video and subtitles.- • Understands the transmission and broadcast .automation systems and supports the broadcast team for smooth operations. Creating a daily transmission schedule for the channel• Liaising with external departments for any programme, promo discrepancies, late start times and outstanding material• Liaising with the Commercial Time Sales Departments for all commercial scheduling, outstanding material and over sells• Promotion planning and meeting contractual agreements • Scheduling of channel branding• Viewing and scheduling of interstitial programming, channel branding and promos• Creating promo reports• Providing supervision of any last minute programme changes and live broadcasts• Responsible for final schedule and the distribution of it to on-air users both internal and external• • Communicating responsibilities to the Scheduler on duty•
