About Osama E. K. Daoud (Ph.D.)

Acquired good experience in technical and contractual aspects of the construction industry combined with managerial skills gained over the past 40 years. I am aware of the quality assurance procedures and their implementation in the design and construction fields.I have good communication skills with others verbally or in writing in both English and Arabic.I worked in many countries and I am exposed to the large variation in the approaches towards material and construction approval limitations.I participated in several value engineering workshops and I am aware of its importance in large projects.I have been involved in many research projects investigating construction and building materials and evaluation of their final performance. My research work was concentrated during the academic years in fracture mechanics applications, finite element modeling and reinforced concrete under repeated loads. Later on during my years of work as a consultant I recorded gained experience in specification writing, contract disputes, case studies of construction failures.I am an expert in deterioration of reinforced concrete structures due to environmental attack and in concrete technology. I have vast experience in material engineering in general and worked with many civil and architectural materials.Published papers in international journals in all the above as listed below.
