• Outages: Assist, coordinate and execute Outages (Planned & Unplanned) and provide necessary technical guidance for enhancing reliability of the Distribution Power Network.
• Unplanned Outages: Perform daily review of Occurrence Report prepared by team members and take necessary preventive & enhancement action in order to ensure correct outage implementation for Distribution system.
• Reports: Prepare all daily/ other sectional related periodic reports and submit the same to senior management for the purpose of sectional performance review. Responsible for ensuring that all outages are updated.
• SCADA System: Responsible for monitoring the SCADA system and network parameters and report any deviations / discrepancies to the concerned departments for prompt resolution.
• Power Network Parameters: Responsible for monitoring Power Distribution Network Parameters and ensure adherence to regulations/ policies/ standards etc.
• KPls: Responsible for ensuring that departmental / sectional KPls are achieved within set timelines. Initiate appropriate corrective action to ensure the same.

• Supervisory Control: Operate Supervisory control equipment provided at system control center in order to achieve the efficient switching operation at remote stations for the Distribution Network.
• Outages: Ensure field staff execute outages (planned & unplanned ) as per the guidelines to ensure safe and reliable Distribution Network and restore the power supply to customers.
• Customer Complaints: Attend telephone calls from vital consumers regarding complaints of power outages or voltages fluctuation in the Distribution Network and direct field staff to perform necessary action to rectify it.
• Documentation: Maintain proper documentation of all operations and other significant events on daily basis. Responsible for ensuring that all outages are updated properly in the SAP, SCADA and other relevant databases.
• SCADA System: Monitor the SCADA system and Power network parameters and report any deviations / discrepancies to the concerned departments.
• NODs: Prepare notice of defects for equipment in order to inform the concerned departments for remedial measures.

• Report all observations (defects) to the control center engineer & raise them to the concerned department.

• Organizing and distributing the job and the manpower.
