About Osama Dawod

Osama Dawod is an Egyptian artist, designer and art director. In 2009 received his MFA in photography from the San Francisco Art Institute, recipient of the Photography Department Merit Fellowship; BFA in Design from Faculty of Fine Arts in Cairo. Participated in exhibitions, projects and residencies in Egypt, Spain, Nepal, Ethiopia, Denmark, Greece, Bahrain, Germany and US. Showed at the Townhouse Gallery, CIC, AUC Falaki Gallery, Palace of Arts, Cairo; Hellenic Center for Photography, Athens; Museum fur Photographie, Braunschweig; Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe, Hamburg; Al Riwaq Gallery, Manama; Meinblau, Berlin; World Press Photo, Amsterdam. 2011-2013 Assistant Professor of Photography at the American University in Cairo, Department of the Arts. 2013-2018 Assistant Professor of Design and Photography at Scientific College of Design in Muscat.
