To provide accurate and speedy checkout service. Be friendly to customers at all times, Calculates total prices, counts money, returns change and issues receipt for purchases made, To ensure smooth handling of cash from point of sales terminals to cash room and finally to the Bank, Ensure sufficient loose changes in various denominations are held at all times, Ensure accurate Daily Till Balance/Reconciliation and maintain proper records of cash movement, Performs any other tasks as required / instructed by superior / management, Attends to customer complaints, inquiries and suggestions, Monitors and documents any non-existing/illegal bar codes and passports procured during the day and submit these to the department concerned, Monitors the return of articles from the checkout area to the selling floor, Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Checkout Manager.
