This multirole position entails work around, project management, administration, operations, policy making, curriculum design, strategic planning, problem solving, liaison between departments (internally and externally) providing solutions and options to the board of directors and executing all the instructions given by the donor funding agency (Ministry of Information Technology and Telecom: IGNITE) with a budget of over 6 million USD. Supervision of operations and curating of NIC Lahore and NIC Quetta in terms of resource planning, logistics, procurement, human resource management, general administration (including security) and project management. Mentoring startups, entrepreneurs and businessman / businesswoman to develop and scale up their businesses. Managing and plotting outreach activities to build healthy relations with industry and investment groups Managing and furnishing funding opportunities for NIC Startups / NIC Lahore and Quetta for its expansion National and international liaison with partner organizations Overseeing reports, reviewing policies and procedures, recalibrating established models and methodologies are some of the key functions on day to day basis. Initiate interactions and collaborate with new and potential worthy partners and sources including startups, incubators and accelerators for knowledge sharing and business development. Focal person for inter departmental liaison and resource sharing in terms of HR, Finances, IT, Procurement, etc. Anticipating the need of resources, launch new initiatives for the development of human resource (talent management and talent acquisition) to build strong human capital and local ecosystem. Devising new ways and initiatives for investment groups and their engagement to strengthen local economy. Maintaining a friendly yet professional culture in the office environment using team building techniques and tools.

 Provide programmatic and operational support to senior management and ensure compliance form all team members Designing, Implementing and managing annual budgets with finance team for over 20 million PKR Coordinate & liaison with public private partners and stakeholders / contractors and vendors.  Overviewing design of proposals, TORs etc. for stakeholders, project beneficiaries both locally & globally Advocate, promote, and implement a corporate synergy through a healthy, safe and creative work environment Assert compliance of legal requirements of the project; finance management, procurement and HR management Conduct teambuilding activities for entrepreneurs and management to increase performance, efficiency and productivity Deep dive in designing and developing impact driven processes including infrastructure upgrades, process automation, public partner relations, branding and marketing functions. Design and implement activities to enrich human capital of LCE, its entrepreneurs, startups and their staff.  Supervise design team in planning and executing marketing strategies for disruption in the current market trend Contribute to deliver a positive message through revisions of strategies as appropriate for changing environments  Carryout need assessments and gap analysis for entrepreneurs by connecting them to the right partners / investors Promote and advocate through outreach initiatives for the development of entrepreneurial eco system  Generate new businesses, attract new startups and maintain healthy relations with the current businesses (such as Fatima Ventures, Nestle, Crescent Ventures, Coke, Pepsi, Microsoft, etc.) and Public (such as TEVTA, SMEDA, etc.). Maintain healthy industrial linkage and liaison with local and foreign institutes / organizations such as (Microsoft Innovation Center – MIC, Google Singapore, City of Austin (USA), Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industries (LCCI), Facebook Singapore, etc.

This role was a challenging as I was in charge of looking after nationwide recruiting potential candidates for studentship at Cardiff University UK. The role not only encompass recruitment of students, but also make sure that they are the right candidates to represent Pakistan on international platform. I had to curate roadshows, plan ahead for academic year, connect nationally with academic institutions and their management, building networks, retaining and maintaining relationships with graduating students coming back to Pakistan after completion of their degree programs, looking after the alumni network in Pakistan, giving monthly feedback to the university's international office about the operations in Pakistan and suggesting new ways to improve student mobility.
