I am an effective and experienced Sales Professional. Over the course of my career, my main focus has been on both the Hospitality and Real Estate Sectors. I worked for more than 10 years for Marriott International hotels across Jordan, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Canada in a variety of sales roles, culminating in my appointment as Senior Sales Manager of The Renaissance Toronto Hotel at SkyDome. Subsequently, at IFA Hotels and Resorts, I was the Sales Manager for the UAE, managing a team of 22 people responsible for property sales on Palm Jumeirah and elsewhere for the group. I launched projects in Dubai and Lebanon, and managed sales teams in Dubai, Lebanon and Kuwait. During the course of my experiences at Marriott and IFA, I gained significant hospitality industry knowledge and can demonstrate a track record of increasing revenue and market share for both employers. I then decided to change direction to work in the Real Estate sector. Over a period of 7 years, I gained in-depth commercial, legal & regulatory knowledge of the UAE and regional property and property development markets. I succeeded in identifying and generating investors from emerging countries and concluded a large number of sales mandates. In 2017, I co-founded and created a mobile App for recreational athletes. Unfortunately, the impact of Covid 19, which has curtailed sporting events, led to the project being aborted. I am looking to draw, on my industry knowledge in the real estate and/or hospitality sectors, to take up any relevant Senior Sales or Business Development opportunities.
