I am a First Year Medical Student at the University of Queensland! I completed my undergraduate degree at UQ, in 2023 from the Bachelor of Health Science. I completed my Queensland Certificate of Education in 2020 from Sunshine Coast Grammar School, as a School Captain and with an ATAR of 98.30. I work as a casual Medical Receptionist at Ochre Health Medical and have previously worked at other medical and specialist centers in a similar role, with over 8 months of experience.Through the University of Queensland, I was offered a role as a Student Ambassador. In this role, we visit schools to provide them with key information regarding degrees of interest to students, provide tours of our amazing St Lucia campus and we’re able to offer one on one advice to prospective students. I have also tutored part-time and continue to mentor students in their journey to Medicine whether it be through a provisional entry or post-graduate entry. I received 6 medical interview offers (from the University of Newcastle, the University of Queensland, the University of New South Wales, the University of Western Sydney, the University of Monash, and the University of Adelaide). Along with this, I was a recipient of the Sir Samuel Griffith Scholarship for Medicine and Pharmacy at Griffith University. Currently, I am the Head of Marketing at SoulSeed Group and I have held several marketing roles through high school and, namely, university as I was the Head of Marketing for the University of Premedical Society.
