Bahçeşehir University - Center for Applied Artificial IntelligenceThe Center for Applied Artificial Intelligence (BAU-AAI) aims to conduct interdisciplinary research on AI with industry cooperation. The center brings together the professors and the graduate students in the Bahçeşehir University (BAU) and the industry to solve real-world problems using data science and artificial intelligence. The center will carry out long-term and cutting-edge research in artificial intelligence, conduct cross-disciplinary research within BAU, explore deep tech innovations, develop applications for the public and private sectors. Another objective of BAU-AAI is to develop best practices and architectures for building high-performance real-world artificial intelligence applications, to create living labs, and to serve the applications to its industry partners on the cloud. We aim to go beyond pure research and to foster cross-disciplinary applied research and development. The studies in the center cover fields as diverse as healthcare, agriculture, finance, education, social/behavioral science, and robotics.
