Geophysical logging Engineer

> Travelling to various mine sites throughout Central Queensland and New South Wales> Handle, travel and evaluate Radioactive sources> Working independently and occasionally with a team of drillers and geologists on site> Liaising with the various mines (clients) for their requirements> Manage quality control of data to be passed to clients>Various mine site inductions from various clients> Solve various problems (mechanical, technical, logistical) in a timely manner, to meet and exceed client expectations and requirements.> Be self managing and adhere to Coalseam Wireline, mine and explorationdepartment guidelines and safety requirements

 Maintenance and calibration of Wireline logging unit, geophysical probes and equipment Supervision and use of radioactive sources for the purpose of geophysical data logging Independent unsupervised work in remote locations Processing, analysis, presentation and QC of geophysical logs and acoustic images in both digital and hard copy. Travelling to various mine sites throughout Central Queensland. Solve technical problems in a timely manner to met and exceed client expectations and requirements.
