As the Director of the Network Operations division at iQ Networks, I lead a dynamic team responsible for all the backbone Network Services M&O, Infrastructure planning, KRG fleet management, Security, Transit Silk Route project, Fiber Project Deployment, and Metro O&M. My professional journey began in 2013 as a Commissioning Engineer with KAR Group, where I played a critical role in commissioning the Khormala Gas Power Plant. I then advanced to Mass Global Company, contributing as a Project Engineer at the Sulaymaniyah Combined Cycle Power Plant and later as Deputy Shift Charge Engineer, focusing on operational excellence.Transitioning to the telecommunications sector, I took on the role of Power Department Manager, overseeing all power-related operations across Iraq. My primary objective was to build and lead a resilient team capable of executing complex projects efficiently. In my role at iQ Networks, I lead initiatives that include:• Nationwide OSP Deployment, Operation, and Maintenance: Managing both Metro and Long-Haul networks, along with comprehensive OSP infrastructure.• Nationwide Power Deployment and Operation & Maintenance: Ensuring reliable and efficient power systems.• Security Collaboration: Working closely with the KRG Security Department to maintain a secure network environment.• Transit Operations: Overseeing OSP and power deployment, operation, maintenance, and implementing robust patrolling and security measures.• Fleet Management: Directing the management of the KRG fleet for optimal performance.Beyond my telecommunications career, I am also deeply passionate about fitness and bodybuilding. In 2018, I founded the Fitness Empire Sport Center, one of the most renowned sports centers in the city. Our young and experienced team offers a range of activities including outside sports, hiking, and unique challenges within the sport center.Fitness Empire was founded in 2017 in Sulaymaniyah, initially starting with a Facebook page to disseminate valuable information about supplements, healthy food, and lifestyle. We soon began hosting seminars for athletes and have since become the most famous athlete team in Iraq.
