Based in the Waikato area working on the Whakamaru and Maraetai dam sites. Developing more comprehensive procedure documents to help with the training of new staff. This involved working through the procedure with maintenance contractors and later developing the gathered information into a useable document. The role required independent work as well as coordinating with different parties on a day to day basis.

Practical experience for Mechanical Degree.Initially working with maintenance staff to help with sawmill machinery repair then working independently implementing health and safety measure around site. This included a lot of fabrication of guards and protection barriers. A side project that I rand during my experience was the design and build of a pedestal linisher for the workshop. This was completed form mostly recycled materials like spare rollers and an old electric motor.
