Our company supplies weekly swimming pool services to 400 residential customers in Houston, Texas--as well as some surrounding areas like Bellaire, Memorial, Spring Branch, and Katy. Our company handles everything from new pool construction to weekly maintenance. This includes equipment repairs and new equipment installation, pool resurfacing, plumbing, computer programming, tile, coping, decking, acid start-ups and renovations. Over 20 years of experience.

Started my own portrait and event photography business. What began as a hobby with DSLR cameras slowly grew into commissioned works. In addition to portraits, I have shot weddings, rehearsal dinners, baptisms, birthdays, anniversaries, and graduations. Photography is a field of constant learning, just like playing a guitar cannot really be fully mastered, the same applies to photography as it depends on creativity and manipulation of light.Have taken classes at the Houston Center for Photography and employ the Canon camera system. I am particularly fond of prime lenses 50mm f/1.4, and 135mm f/2 and 70-200mm f/2.8 for weddings and event photography. All these lenses produce sharp images and a gorgeous background blur, or bokeh.

My brother and I started this company by providing pool maintenance to residential pools. Met directly with customers and responsible for recruiting them for weekly service. As years rolled on, we began doing pool and deck renovations, equipment repairs, re-plastering of in-ground pools, electrical work, heater and new pool equipment installation, PVC re-plumbing, installing new gas lines, and graphically designing and building swimming pools according to our customers' wishes. I was responsible for writing customer/business contracts and invoices, as well as negotiating with subcontractors. The company grew to over 145 customers for weekly maintenance, most in the Bellaire/West University area. We expanded to Katy, Sugarland, and Spring. I devised the company name and logo and was responsible for hiring and training employees.

Worked at Houston's largest screen printing and promotional company. Assisted screen printers in setting up multi-color screens in an M&R printing press, M&R's ranged from 8 to 14 heads, allowing for complex designs to be mass printed on T-shirts and other garments. Dozens to hundreds of thousands of shirts were printed each week. Clients at the time included Marc Ecko and R.K. Stratman (Official Harley-Davidson apparel).I later was moved to the company's shipping and receiving department, to assist the shipping supervisor. Together, we headed one of the best and most fluid shipping departments in the company's history. My duties included the check in of pallets containing boxes of shirts and other garments. I was certified to drive a Nissan forklift, with which I loaded and unloaded 18-wheelers. I was responsible for pulling items held in fulfillment inside our warehouse, and shipping it out via couriers. I handled all FedEx, UPS, and DHL shipping, often calling their service centers to schedule pick-ups. The supervisor and I developed protocols to keep errors at a minimum. Mainly, having a 2nd person double check our counts of shirts (and other promotional items) and sign off paperwork before shipping them out. These protocols are still in place today.
