PROTERMOSOLAR, the Spanish Association for the Promotion of the Solar Thermal Industry, aims to promote the development of the Spanish solar thermal industry and boost the expansion and development of solar thermal technology both in Spain and in the rest of the world.Spain is a world leader in solar thermal technology and installed capacity, where Spanish companies lead the most ambitious international projects.Our members represent the entire value chain of the sector: developers, constructors, component manufacturers, engineering companies, consultants, research centres, etc. As a Secretary General I develop the following functions:- Representation of the sector in Institutional Affairs with the Administration at national and regional level and interlocutor of the Association in International affairs.- Management and coordination of the boards of directors and annual meetings of members.- Development of the Association's Work Plan through the permanent and temporary Committees and Working Groups (Regulatory, technical, financial, environmental, etc.).- Preparation of articles, reports, memorandums, minutes of the Association and coordination of sectorial studies.- Dissemination and promotion of the solar thermal industry in forums, congresses, press and media.

Luxida is an investment platform dedicated to the acquisition of assets across the value chain in the electricity sector, with the objective of accumulating a critical mass and consolidating them into a medium-sized company.During this period, I have managed the company’s activities such as Renewable Generation, Installation (efficiency and Self-consumption), Distribution and Supply electricity, developing the following functions:- Plan the group’s strategy including the negotiation, and acquisition of the Luxida’s companies. I finally acquired 4 energy distribution companies, 1 energy supply company, 1 energy generation company (hydroelectric and solar technologies) and I set up an installation company to provide energy efficiency and self-consumption to customers.- Set and execute operational action plans, I was the chief of regulatory affairs for all businesses and I ensured that the company’s operations were environmentally responsible.- Manage the company’s P&L with special attention to the profitability of the regulated and remunerated Capex.- Build trusting relationships with shareholders, partners, board of directors, regulators, association and other stakeholders, acting as a point of reference for all of them.- Be joint Administrator of each of the 7 Luxida’s companies.

ab energia is a company focused on the energy sector carrying out the activities of electricity distribution, Supply electricity and gas and concessionary of a supply water company.As ab energia’s managing director, I implemented the strategic plan defined by the shareholders with the following responsibilities:- Create and consolidate ab energia’s brand embracing all the group’s activities and being also responsible of the commercial an operation strategy.- Plann regulatory Capex and its impact on regulated revenues as a Chief of Regulatory Affairs.- Represent the company in association and regulators.- Improve EBITDA by optimising operations and their costs.

Aguas de Barbastro is a group dedicated to the energy sector which, after the new electricity sector law in 2009, launched the activity of electricity supply. As Director and member of the Board of Directors, I focused on initiating the activity, developing the strategic and operational plan and carried out, among others, the following functions:- Create and organise the sales team, recruiting 8 sales representatives and opening 4 branches.- Manage and develope the operations and commercial policies, product and marketing campaigns to attract new clients.- Implement the digitisation of many of the company’s processes.

I was, for more than 10 years, Financial Director in Aguas de Barbastro Group taking an active part in interesting sectors such as energy, telecommunications, Real Estate or Transport of dangerous goods, among others. During this stage I have developed the following tasks:- Financial responsible of the group.- Negotiation with Financial Entities.- Elaboration and monitoring of budgets.- Preparation and supervision of regulatory and accounting statements.- Presentation of Taxes.- Reporting to the Board of Directors and shareholders.
