I am currently employed as an EAPA Assessment Officer within the Taronga Zoo Contact Centre where I have been a team member within theContact since the beginning of June. In this time I’ve been able to further develop mycustomer service skills, problem solving and conflict resolution skills whilst working as partof the Taronga team working on EAPA systems including Freshdesk and EAPA online, withan average ticket close rate of 18 tickets per day. For the last 5 years, I have managed to work in different casual roles, while still working full-time hours in my spare time to create engaging events and tours in Sydney. ies Involved: In my role, I:Ø Helped manage the guest experience of thousands of visitors to the Zoo across the many different activities and events the Zoo hosts daily.Ø Worked through customer ticketing booking errors, enforcing the Zoo’s policies on the grounds as well as resolving low-level customer complaints.Ø I coordinated an event with a Spanish television program to showcase the contributions of the organization towards sustainability.

Duties Involved: During my period working at the Visitor Centre, I:Ø Organized and coordinated extended tours for both international and domestic visitorsØ I worked closely with multiple stakeholders and tour operators to ensure seamless experiences.Ø Assisted visitors with booking Sydney, regional, and national tours, I independently ran one of the centre's outlets.Ø Took care of reservation systems, handled cash, and performed banking and accounting duties.

As a part of the Tours department I conducted tours and experiences for a wide range of visitors to inform them on the history, design, and useof the building. These experiences included the Junior Adventure Tours for school children, Private and VIP Package Tours. I led the tours in English and Spanish, catering each experience to the members of my tour group. While working in one of the world’s busiest performing arts centres, I maintained a sense of flexibility and positivity despite constant shifts in access and information.I also supported the rest of the team by setting up and maintaining audiovisual equipment, as well as other front of house and cloaking duties.

Duties Involved: Collaborating with other tourism professionals, I:Ø Developed the first and only free walking tour in Auckland, New Zealand. As the head tour guide in the first seasons, I developed the structure and content of the tours and was able to establish these tours as a ‘must-do” in Auckland enriching the experience for many visitors to the country.Ø Led daily English tours, introduced a weekly Spanish tour and coordinated many community-orientated events.

Duties Involved: As a business analyst at the Commercial Chamber, I:Ø Worked assisting Spanish companies exporting their products to Egypt and Sudan.Ø I wrote numerous business analytics reports on the local market to prepare business agendas for private companies visiting Egypt.Ø I managed various Trade Missions for both, industry associations and individual private companies, including the Direct Trade Missions for AGRAGEX (the Spanish Exporters Association of Agricultural Machinery and its components, Irrigation Systems, etc.) in Egypt and Sudan in September 2011, where I was able to successfully coordinate all the logistics to accommodate meetings for more than 60 international stakeholders

As part of the EWWR (European Week for Waste Reduction), I assisted in the design and implementation of an action plan for organic waste reduction in school cafeterias in Portugal. I worked with the local students in order to create an awareness of the importance of correct waste management and waste reduction. I also assisted on a waste characterization project in a shopping mall in Larissa (Greece) and collaborated in numerous international waste management projects. During these projects I was in charge of editing reports and other graphic design works.

I assisted in the conservation & management project for IPAs (Important Plant Areas), designated by Plantlife in the United Kingdom. I used GIS editing and Photoshop skills to create working material and maps to be used by expert conservationists. I simultaneously assisted in other international projects and design presentations for the manager of research.

I took care of various animal species prior to their reintegration into the wild. I collaborated in the construction of their enclosures and assisted with the visitor’s liaison work. This included providing guided walks on the premises among other experiences.
