Co-founder, CarpinsearchLeon | 2018 - 2021 (on-site) / 2021 - 2022 (freelance)- A company founded by an experienced carpenter and myself, where we managed a team of six to design, manufacture and install residential carpentry, such as closets, kitchens, bathroom furniture, etc. - Responsible for the development and design of custom furniture, as well as overseeing installations, accounts, customer billing, and payroll.- We were hire by an architectural firm to manufacture carpentry for 30% of their projects, which translated to an average of 4 houses per year.

Architectural Design, MuG (Multiusos Guzmán) - https://www.behance.net/gallery/164792235/MuGLeon | 2020 - 2021- Design for a project with dual, industrial and residential use, where both functionalities needed to coexist within the same space or utilize the entire space for either purpose. I worked closely with an architect and a civil engineer for the technical development of the project.- Responsible for project planning, project management, on-site supervision, purchase of materials, solving problems and changes during construction. I provided weekly reports to the client, detailing the the progress achieved, along with a general overview of the project's expenses in relation to the original budget.

Partner, CARSALeon | 2017 - 2018- Implementation of a new Excel system for inventory, procurement and sales management. - Develop new metrics and graphs to provide insights based on data to measure weekly performance and generate insights for decision making.- Responsible for purchasing materials for tanning and ensuring the quality of the finished product.- We supplied 100 tanned skins per week to a school shoe manufacturer, which required efficient logistics for purchasing and processing raw materials, as well as optimal capital management.

The business later evolved to provide promotional items for companies.- We collaborated with woodworking, welding, ceramic, and CNC cutting and machining workshops. We provided them with explanatory diagrams, material renders, material breakdowns, production plans, and CNC machining files to ensure understanding and successful production of our products. The products we manufactured were mass-produced and designed to be easily transportable in a sedan car.- I learned inventory management, which ranged from 50 to 100 products of the best-selling designs. I managed a portfolio of suppliers and customers, handled shipments, determined the production breakeven point to achieve optimal costs, and placed great emphasis on minimizing material waste.

I worked closely with the procurement, sales, and graphic design departments.- Our clients included brands such as Brown Forman (Tequila Herradura, Tequila Jimador, Appleton, etc.), Angelissima (cosmetics), Collins (pharmaceuticals), Credomatic (banking), Jack Daniels, Mini Cooper, among others. For these clients, I developed promotional items for events, such as stands, bars for pubs, lightboxes with their brand, store displays, and packaging for their products.

I taught them how to create plan views and how to develop their designs in Rhinoceros for rendering and 3D printing.- I was able to demonstrate and improve my expertise in developing NURBS (non-uniform rational B-spline) surfaces using Rhinoceros.- I learned 3D printing and optimized time and material by printing only half of the prototype using a mirror for representing the automobile design.- I also learned to use Speedforms for form studies

The courses consisted of using points and lines on a flat surface to working with 3D NURBS, developing production plans, functionality diagrams, assembly, and renders.- For their final project, I asked them to bring an object, disassemble it, and model each of its parts in Rhinoceros. We used items like video-game consoles, controllers, coffee makers, among others.- I learned how to use renders along with Adobe Illustrator to create commercial posters.

CSR (Customer Service Representative), Teletech Guadalajara - "Sprint-Nextel" Campaign - https://www.sprint.comGuadalajara | 2006 - 2007- After 6 months of work as a CSR, I was recognized for my performance in following guidelines and resolving complex customer issues, and I was promoted to the position of Team Coach. - As a Team Coach, I was responsible for handling complicated customer calls before escalating them to the supervisor.- I significantly improved my English proficiency, my customer service skills, and learned to collaborate with my colleagues to fulfill customer requests.
