CurrentAttorney partner at Business Immigration Group, a law firm focused on US immigration law and corporate law. Mr. Betancourt has focused on representing entrepreneurs, investors, researchers, executives of small and medium-sized companies, multinational companies, students, recognized professionals, and others, in obtaining immigrant and non-immigrant visas, helping them successfully navigate the ins and outs of the immigration laws of the United States. To mention a few, Attorney Betancourt has represented clients on E-2, EB-5 investment visas applications, as well as extraordinary and exceptional ability visas such as EB-1, O-1, EB-2 National Interest Waiver visas, business and work visas for professionals, such as TN, EB-3, as well as E-1 merchant visa, L-1 visa, among others. Mr. Betancourt earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration, majoring in Finance and International Business, from FLORIDA INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY (FIU) in 2017. Later on, he earned the degree of juris doctor at the FIU school of law (2021) and is licensed by the Supreme Court of Florida to practice law.
