My cross-disciplinary background in municipal planning policies and urban design principles strengthens my ability to provide vibrant solutions for complete communities. I am passionate about city-building driven by diverse building typologies and land uses, contemporary architecture, placemaking, active transportation, and sustainable building design. I am committed to ensuring my design solutions fit the everyday needs of people of all ages to live, work, shop, and play.What is Urban Design?Urban design is the process of creating and shaping the spaces where we live, work, and play. It focuses on crafting vibrant, sustainable, and resilient environments that enhance quality of life. This practice seeks to establish meaningful connections between built form and the public realm. Urban design involves the planning and creation of buildings, open spaces, active transportation networks (including multi-modal and public transit options), community amenities, and placemaking efforts. Each of these elements contributes to the design of neighbourhoods, streets, and parks/open spaces, shaping their character and functionality.
