As part of Higher Team Academy, I was introduced to "professional grade" silicon valley software development. I worked on digital ocean Linux droplets with programming languages such as PHP, Rails. We used mysql as the database. During that time I built a blog project from scratch using Ruby 2.3.1 and Rails 5.0.1. I designed all the relationships in the database with Active Record from within the application. I wrote code in Javascript to make calls to the server through AJAX.
