His approach to listening first and finding solutions second is what makes him an invaluable member to our organization.Oscar involved himself in learning leadership at an early age by joining his high school’s JROTC and expressed his patriotic duty in serving for four years in the U.S. Air Force. During his tour he was instrumental in providing control tower safety by properly maintaining sophisticated radio communication systems.Oscar distinguished himself by being honored as the Airman of the Quarter in his division and obtaining an honorable discharge when his tour of service was completed.As a missionary for his church Oscar learned to love the culture while serving in the country of Colombia, South America for two years. He eventually returned to Cali after his period of service and married the love of his life and wife Lucy.Later in his professional career, Oscar was chosen out of 1200 individuals and received a Quarterly Performance Award while working as an aviation/electrical technician for Lear Siegler Inc. Randolph AFB, Tx. Also as a Boeing employee he contributed to the overall success of the coveted Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award, delivered directly from the Office of the President of the United States and the Texas Award for Performance Excellence.One of the biggest contributions Oscar made with Boeing was helping his team create a zero production waste environment. Oscar and his team successfully reduced the number of man hours on one particular aircraft modification project from 13,000 down to 2000 hours.Oscar’s ability to transform wasteful processes into high production outcomes is one of the reason’s for his attraction to Dentma’s flagship system Lifeline. His background and knowledge of high efficiency systems makes him an excellent selection in promoting Lifeline.
