Software Engineering:- Built system level agent (Go) for collecting metrics of thousands of virtual machines to enable health and performance monitoring for internal cloud- Led the re-architecture across the stack (frontend, backend, database) of a legacy application to address a years-long performance issue, achieving 10x performance improvement. - Engineering lead for the development of an iOS app and successfully made it available company wide within Apple. I work in the cloud computing division building the new monitoring system for Yahoo!Developed REST API’s layer on top of OpenTSDB to provide improved performance through query sharding and patterns pre-expansion as well as improved data quality through time series combination. Implemented using NodeJS and Java.
