I studied computer science at TU Munich and did my phd in formal methods at the chair of Prof. Broy. So I know how to formally prove the correctness of software.After winning the first price at the formal methods world conference in 1999, we decided to put our knowledge into practice and founded Validas AG as a spin-off from TU Munich. The vision always was to make the world a safer place. In 2005 we qualified the first time a code generator for BMW. Afterwards we launched our Tool Chain Analyzer (TCA) tool that analyzes models of tool chains and generates the required safety documents. Amongst other great achievements, we are very proud of our C++ Template Library (STL) Qualification Kit. The mission of Validas is to guide to a safe usage of tools and libraries.
