I coach global VIPs, global and national A-list artists, sports and other high profile figures in their philanthropic and charity initiatives. I specialize in guiding them in making a meaningful impact on communities and civil society. My expertise also lies in mentoring VIPs on philanthropy, activism, and non-profit management, as well as facilitating crucial relationships and policy dialogues with governments, international institutions and intergovernmental agencies. Through Top Social, I've been working in the incubation of The Common Initiative, a research and action collective of interdisciplinary experts from the biodiversity, climate, land, human rights, and new economy movements, committed to reshaping the conversation about the global economy. Drawing on our collective experience working for the United Nations, IDDRI, WWF, Avaaz, Greenpeace, Friends of the Earth, Oxfam, Caritas, Reuters and Harvard, we're taking on a new challenge: to make biodiversity a central element of global financial reform.We're building this new initiative in response to the gap in the broader movement to reform the global financial architecture. We want to create a space for dialogue where new ideas about the global economy are resolutely focused on the common good and common sense first: biodiversity, on which most of the world's economic activity depends, must be at the centre of this global conversation.Our theory of change revolves around overcoming policy gatekeepers to ensure that biodiversity is properly considered at the highest levels of decision-making. This involves translating public demands into actionable policy pathways and gaining the support of influential actors across sectors. Through targeted briefings, reports, interactive platforms and workshops for key stakeholders, we aim to bridge the gap between public opinion and policy implementation.The Initiative's programming will expand in 2024-2025 as we welcome new partners and collaborators. I worked in a team of international change-makers in supporting the core advocacy goals of Avaaz, a unique platform that pursues large-scale social change. At the heart of one of the most innovative public organizations in the world today, I led international campaigning, advocacy and lobbying efforts with a seasoned and entrepreneurial team of organizers and technologists while serving a large, rapidly-growing network of almost 70 million citizens from every country on Earth.
