Before deciding to become a web developer I had been going to community college only to realize it wasn't for me. I started to work fulltime at the UW hospital in Madison, WI. Fast forward a year later my cousin introduced me to web development. I started taking basic coding courses on Codecademy and fell in love with it. Around this time, I was offer a job at a construction company. During my time at B & B Quality Building Restoration I learned a lot of blue collar skills from working with different tools to operating heavy machinery. I also had the opportunity to work on the B & B Quality Building Restoration webpage and do some IT work for them. After working for two seasons for B & B It was time for me to pack my bags and move to the west coast and follow my dreams of becoming a web developer. I Most recently completed a full-time full stack intensive program at learn academy, where I learned JavaScript, React, Node, Postgres, Express, and Bootstrap. I also had the opportunity to build full-stack apps while I was at learn.
