I am currently studying at the Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University, majoring in Finance. Growing up in a Chinese household, I enriched myself with as much knowledge and wisdom from the sacrifices they experienced in a third-world country. Learning from these experiences amplified my strive and ambition to be the best, as well as becoming a role model and giving back to those who impacted my life.I was exposed to numerous activities like piano and basketball in my childhood in Florida. My family wanted to provide me with endless opportunities, and because of this, I was able to develop social, independent, and leadership skills. The sport of basketball helped build my character and taught me discipline. It also taught me that, to win, a person must have a strong work ethic and perform well with others. This principle is carried out in almost everything I do, especially my educational journey. At one point in my life, I had to cut out any outside noise distracting me from my focus to achieve, which is why I moved to the city of New York. Coming from Florida, I put myself out of my comfort zone to push my limits in a competitive environment. I want to create my future and inspire others to live out their dreams. Although I am still young with little experience, I am eager to learn and develop new skills and seek opportunities to maximize my potential.
