Dr Goh began his distinguished academic career at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in 1990, where he served as both a researcher and academic. In 2000, he transitioned to Multimedia University (MMU), contributing significantly to the institution's research initiatives. In 2002, he was pivotal in launching the Samsung IoT Academy at Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM). From 2017 to 2020, Dr Goh served as the Assistant Vice Chancellor at UTeM, after which he advanced to the role of Professor in the Department of Intelligent Computing & Analytics until his retirement in 2022. He was subsequently honoured as an Adjunct Professor at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM).Dr. Goh is the founder and CEO of Meta AI, an innovative startup with operations in Malaysia and Australia. He also serves as a Senior Consultant at Led Vision Sdn Bhd. Before his current ventures, he distinguished himself as a Research Fellow and academic at Murdoch University in Perth, Western Australia. His research focuses primarily on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, the Internet of Things (IoT), Data Analytics, and Smart City.
