ITConnexx Founder and CEO/President, Brian O'Shaughnessy, has spent more than 30 years in the Information Technology industry assisting small businesses to fully utilize technology to increase efficiency and maximize profits. Brian's career began in 1991 at Advanced Veterinary Systems as a helpdesk technician. He was quickly promoted to various leadership roles and served as lead R&D technician. In 1995, Brian accepted a position as IT Technical Specialist at The University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire, where he implemented an email network and Microsoft Windows NT Server network for nearly 20,000 users. In 1998, Brian accepted a position as Senior Network Engineer at American Medical Security, a large insurance company with 3000 employees. In the short 14 months that he was there, Brian led the evaluation and consolidation from hundreds of network servers to dozens. Brian also directed the implementation of Microsoft Exchange Server, Internet Information Server and a centralized fax server network.In 1999, Brian founded OS Consulting, Inc. to assist small businesses with IT planning, installation and service. After several years of operation with one employee, Brian formed a partnership with longtime friend Kevin Scholz. OS Consulting was renamed ITConnexx, Inc. and DVMConnexx, Inc. was founded. Brian operated as President of both ITConnexx and DVMConnexx until 2011 when the businesses were separated to maximize efficiency. A 1991 graduate of The University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire, Brian has built ITConnexx to be The Perfect IT Department for small and medium sized businesses. He is focused on company culture, client satisfaction and the importance of placing the interests of others ahead of his own.Specialties: The skill and capacity of an IT Department from a $100 million dollar company at the disposal for every small to medium sized business.
