In this role I contracted for Boston Scientific providing Supplier Quality Engineering services for the integration of a recent acquisition. The role was primarily focused on conducting Quality Management System audits of the suppliers who were being onboarded as part of the integration effort.

In this role, I utilised my extensive skills in communication to effectively liaise with a diverse selection of global engineers in controlling and maintaining quality standards in relation to production line and custom flow control solutions for the Oil & Gas Industry. I was responsible for the efficient development of ITP’s, QP’s and paint specifications in order to ensure new orders and existing client orders were fulfilled as per industry standards. Additionally, I did apply my detail-orientated skills to conduct extensive mechanical completion check records and inspections of the material record books prior to customer handover. I also ensured the provision of exhaustive support to the Quotes & Inside Sales team in relation to producing accurate quotations and sales order reviews, providing customers with the highest possible standards of service.

In this position, I worked in close collaboration with a global network of engineers in effectively managing suppliers and the development of both production line and custom project process instrumentation for the Oil & Gas industry. Due to my expertise in delivering the required results, I oversaw the qualification of new parts in line with applicable regulatory code and GE QMS in addition to performing detailed audits of crucial company suppliers within process and product control aspects.I was also entrusted with leading the response to the recovery of out of specification products at supplier sites across Europe, as well as developing and driving product material productivity and site MRB processes. Additionally, I was fully accountable for the efficient implementation of tailored design improvements through supplier interaction, DMP and ECO processes, while also ensuring the completion of demanding monthly and quarterly metrics.
