Having spent 7 years as a bricklayer on site, it was time to increase my formal knowledge of the building and construction industry.I went and studied a diploma of Building and Construction and Construction Management.I then moved into a project management role at Albatross Swimming Pools (Aust) where I continued learning the office/administrative side of construction and compliance. During my time at Albatross part of my role included applying and obtaining all relevant permits for every project from developers approvals to contract administration and the overall management of up to 50 projects at any one time.In August 2020 I have moved on from the swimming pool game to residential housing construction with obtaining my DBU my next goal.Since February 2022 I have been project managing for Living Green Constructions. We operate in the domestic section of the industry. Our work includes side by side double storey homes to multi residential developments as well as high end custom builds.I am currently in the process of obtaining my DBU - I hope to have achieved this by the end of 2023.In January 2024 i finally received my DBU having studied throughout 2023.
