I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in computer engineering with more than 20 years of experience securing National Critical Infrastructures and leading complex digital transformations. I am certified as GICSP, CBCP, CRISC, CERT CIH and ISO27001LA. I was a voting member in the IEC/ISA-62443 standard for OT Security for 7 years, and an international partner in the Industrial Control Systems Joint Working Group (ICSJWC) created by the DHS. I was also a member of the OWASP foundation leader’s board.I led the development of the first National Standard for Industrial Control Systems (ICS) security and contributed to drafting the first Critical Infrastructure Information Protection (CIIP) law in the MENA region, I am also proud to lead the team that organized and implemented the 1st National Cyber Security Drills in the Middle East [STAR-X]. and I hold a diploma from Carnegie Mellon’s Tepper School of Business in entrepreneurship and corporate innovation.I've worked for several multinational firms in the oil and gas sector as a security engineer I am also a regular speaker, columnist on information security and Critical Infrastructure Information Protection (CIIP) issues.Currently I am a partner in PwC focusing on protecting Critical Infrastructures and enabling secure digital transformations covering Africa, India and the Middle East regions.
