Q-CERT is a national asset sponsored by the State of Qatar's Supreme Council for Information and Communications Technology (ictQATAR). As Qatar's national computer security incident response team, Q-CERT will coordinate the comprehensive set of cyber-security activities needed to improve the protection of critical infrastructures in the nation and in the region.My role is to overlook the information security surrounding the nation's critical sectors such as the Energy or Utilities sectors through continuous assessments and standardization . I am also contributing to the national cyber security strategy addressing issues like data protection, privacy, technology risks and critical sectors resilience.Through my work I have been exposed to multiple automation and critical industries and conducted +40 ICS/SCADA assessments across the country.
