Correction, "Senior" was officially added after the fact and included on official documents relating to tax and previous employment for various government agencies, likely reluctantly, a half-measure to avoid a legal battle I suspect. For the record I didn't care about money, I just wanted the recognition I deserved.Title should really have been architect or technical lead (certainly during last 2 yrs minimum) as that better describes vast majority of actual tasks (though refused to be recognised on paper despite practically in reality was role i was fulfilling) more accurate depiction of tasks performed compared to job descriptions online; along with generally leading most of the purely technical aspects and more difficult systems and network and security design/architecture/testing/continually improving, and automation (and roughly half of devops, and a little small occasionally time/personnel depending dev stuff also). In fairness I was far from a perfect employee! No doubt the smartest, but quite likely also amongst the most troublesome (for which I can partly attribute HFA(high functioning autism, parent category for Aspergers)+ADHD+OCD and some personal difficulties like living 2 hours away for example).
