    Co-founded a small food delivery company in Tokyo with a friend. Tokyo Food Box was a cooking solution for people who loved food and loved to cook, but didn’t like to plan and shop. Our service was inspired by similar services in Sweden like middagsfrid.se, but with a much more upmarket profile. We focused on real food with great ingredients, cooked from scratch and mixed Japanese and Swedish cuisine. Starting a company in a foreign country was an amazing experience where we had to navigate the quirks of the Japanese society. Throughout the life of the service we were profitable, had an amazing customer satisfaction rate, and also more customers than we could handle. When we as founders left Japan we reluctantly decided to fold the company.

A methodical use of A/B-testing with iterations increased profits and decreased churn. Secondly the department was responsible for analyzing Direct Marketing Campaigns. Using statistical scoring models and thorough follow-up processes we were able to focus our efforts with lower costs and increased customer response as a result.
