Leading a group of talented Machine Learning engineers to develop reusable and scalable AI platform and frameworks to empower AI products in community support and other business units in Airbnb. Projects include Conversational AI, in-house LLM fine-tuning, user segmentation, LLM evaluation framework, etc.Previously I was Staff Machine Learning Engineer in Airbnb Community Support CoreML team and Senior Machine Learning Engineer in Airbnb Growth & Ads team.

* Design and implement machine learning projects on Apache Hadoop ecosystem.* Implemented anomaly detection frameworks to monitor sensor data in real-time using Apache Kafka, Storm and HBase.* Apply machine learning techniques to build historical behavior models and deliver supply chain analytics using Apache Spark.* Mentor data scientist/engineer interns on internal machine learning projects.

* Developed an anomaly detection framework using dynamic graph algorithm and implemented the system on Pivotal Hadoop framework as a computer security product.* Built analytical approaches for enterprise problems in information security, IT operations, and other areas with very large machine-generated data. * Applied for two US patents.

* Built a common interface as a device agent so as to connect RFID readers with IBM application middleware.* Implemented real-time sensor control with IBM WebSphere Sensor Events and introduced it into different business application.* Researched on a network bridge between WLAN and WIMAX in order to realize power saving management in the whole network.
