My international perspective was shaped by studies at KEDGE Business School in France and WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management in Germany.My master’s thesis, titled "Predicting Default Probability for North American Companies: A Comparative Analysis of Traditional Statistical and Machine Learning Methods Using Financial Ratios," examined the predictive capacity of financial ratios on default probabilities. By introducing a GLM-RF (Generalized Linear Model combined with Random Forest) model, we found significant improvements in prediction performance, especially in handling class imbalances.
