MY PASSION BECOMES A MISSION.I believe that my work helps someone somewhere to get better or to heal faster.I have been fascinated with art ever since the age of five, and every week my mother would bring me a new drawing book. As I got older, I started engraving on wood, clay, and gypsum as it became my second hobby after building houses using all types of Legos and wooden blocks games. I traveled all over the Middle East and Europe (Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Arab Emirates, Qatar, Sudan, Libya, Jordan, UK, Russia, Netherlands, Germany, France, and Egypt), finding that diversity allows me to grasp the culture and its influences on these countries’ architecture styles, treatments, vocabularies, and materials. But when it comes to Healthcare architecture, there are a lot of unifying similarities internationally among places that are environments for healing; and that makes working in the field of planning and designing of the Healthcare industry a passion. Healthcare technologies, sciences, and evidence-based design bound with planning and design processes add more challenges to the entire mission; but every time I imagine that my work helps someone somewhere to get better or to heal faster, that makes me put in all my effort, knowledge, and capacity to get this job done well. This passion motivated me to volunteer at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston, Volunteer Services, Aflac Cancer Center, which gave me a better understanding and a different perspective about the design of healthcare environment for Patients, Visitors, caregivers, and non-medical staff, by being on-site.As a medical planner and healthcare architect with an extensive amount of experience in healthcare architectural planning, all aspects of the design process, project management, and construction supervision, I have led teams and been involved with the study, design, and supervision of more than 25 healthcare facilities projects, with tasks ranging from restorations, renovations, designing single medical departments to the master planning of teaching hospitals and medical campuses. For all these projects, my focus has been on fostering great client relationships, combined with great project team relationships. My experience extends across several countries, where I have succeeded in delivering quality healthcare projects on time and within budget. "My passion becomes a mission."
