I completed my Physiotherapy MSc at the University of Essex with Distinction before embarking on my physiotherapy journey at Ipswich Hospital.As a motivated self-starter I am building my digital skills alongside my health career, allowing me to transfer and utilise skills between these industries.Previous Physiotherapy student roles:- Co-President of the Physiotherapy Society- Peer mentor- Course Rep- Student AmbassadorDigital Marketing:My flexible, hands-on approach allowed me to adapt to the ever-changing environment of digital marketing and I took an analytical and results-focussed style to campaigns.My experience in a multi-channel marketing role allowed me to participate in a wide range of activities to support the development of various brands within the agency including back-end and front-end web development and user experience optimisation (UX).Osteopathic training (2009 - 2018. Status: Off-register):As an osteopath (first-contact practitioner) I applied a wide variety of strategies in helping to identify, communicate and target barriers to physical improvement. I aimed to help people attain an understanding of their injury or pain as well as how to improve the quality of their health.I combined structural strategies, such as biomechanics, ergonomic modification and exercise prescription with patient education and manual treatments, which allowed me to treat effectively and holistically.My latest training in Physiotherapy has allowed me to critically appraise the evidence base behind treatment to optimise efficacy for increasingly personalised healthcare delivery.I look forward to establishing ties with practitioners that recognise the need for new and integrated ways of thinking about health - how digital can evolve current practice and enhance patient care and autonomy.
