My aim is to make products and services simpler for people to engage with by making interfaces easier to use. Lowering the cognitive load, through intuitive design, is one of my main end goals & to get to that point I’ve relied heavily on my empathy for users. Empathy has been the force at my back that has flowed into every aspect of my design process: discover, design, & deliver. During the discover phase I set out to meet users as a means of gathering qualitative data, using user surveys/interviews etc. Once my notes have been gathered, I move on to create rough designs which get user tested & reworked based on the initial user interaction. After I’ve run preference & click tests to reinforce the projects information architecture the work is finally ready to start moving forward.
