• Develop, implement, and manage strategic public relations, public affairs, and government affairs campaigns for large-scale infrastructure projects and private clients in the telecommunications, Emergency Medical Services, and land development fields. • Focus on public in-person and digital multi-language community outreach and engagement, strategic planning, project design, construction, implementation, and operation of projects utilizing equitable and inclusive practices.• Leverage planning and engineering backgrounds to provide additional technical expertise and support to clients throughout the planning, development, construction, and operations phases of their projects.• Create and implement bilingual collateral and engagement strategies to help clients communicate with, and effectively engage, diverse communities.• Foster strategic partnerships, effective stakeholder and community engagement, and community coalition building.

Provide innovative data and equity-driven transportation planning, programming, design, technical support/analytics, and polylingual outreach, engagement, and coordination with clients, engineers, elected officials, project staff, community organizations, and the community.

• Oversee Radio Room/Command Center staff and communications to ensure quick and efficient information distribution protocols as well as incident management and notification procedures.• Review and troubleshoot RTMS-related issues that affect automatic vehicle location tracking, radio communications, and on-time performance metrics.• Oversee transportation project review and implementation from plan design, to construction, to service operations ensuring efficient and effective implementations for projects that include pedestrian, bicycle, and transit modes.• Review, analyze, and implement enhancements and modifications to improve on-time performance and service quality.• Oversee Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) service quality, performance measures, and new construction project implementations.• Collect, analyze, develop, and deliver reports and presentations to agency directors, CEO, and Board of Directors using statistical data, synthesized results, and graphical representations.

• Transportation planning work focused in urban as well as rural areas. This includes managing service planning, performance monitoring, scheduling, and data collection programs including those required to support regional, state, and federal programs.• Review, analyze, and finalize local, community, and regional plans that include pedestrian, bicycle, and transit modes as well as traffic impact and environmental impact studies.• Project management experience including conceptual and final design, RFP, RFB, RFQ, Design-Build, and construction management including: the SANDAG/MTS South Bay Bus Rapid Transit Project & Bus On Shoulder Project; the MTS ADA Bus Stop Improvements Project; and the RFP for MTS Fixed Route Bus Services.• Conduct studies to recommend and implement improvements to transit service quality, productivity, and efficiency.• Collect, analyze, develop, and deliver reports and presentations to agency directors, CEO, and Board of Directors using GIS analyses, visual aids, and graphical representations.• Representation with elected officials, in community groups, planning groups, and on disabled advocacy and transportation committees (ASAC, SSTAC).

• Integral role in rescheduling 95% of the fixed route bus network for the Light Rail New Operating Plan which included analyzing ridership data, AVL data, On Time Performance reports, run time analyses, as well as planner and customer feedback and comments.• Instituted the use of HASTUS time/distance graphs to more efficiently develop route and trip connections for bus and light rail.• Create, prepare, and analyze On Time Performance reports, ridership trends, and other statistical information.• Familiar with run-cutting schedules and preparing and maintaining standard bidding and operation documents.

• Collect and create statistical reports of vehicles and passengers to improve routes and schedules.• Help lead daily management, training, supervision, and coordination of disabled transport for the UCSD campus.

• Help lead daily management of routes and coordination of 150+ bus drivers.• Assist in evaluating route and service changes, including AVL data, to improve times and efficiency.• Develop and implement new training modules to standardize driver training as well as daily operations.
