Challenge:• Operating only for a few years in Brazil, good opportunities, in terms of EHS management system, gave us the chance to work on the reorganization of the EHS and PSM programs in the site.• Basic systems were developed initially to comply with local regulations, but in just a few months in the company, Risk Management took a bigger dimension with the implementation of the most critical elements of the OSHA-PSM to establishes a new culture in Risk Mitigation. • Regulatory aspects were also an area of opportunity. During the years, a regulatory applicability survey was delivered and gaps in terms of Environmental permit issuing and conditions monitoring were consistently addressed. As the only EHS professional on the site, I’ve worked on the floor to keep the risks under control until the Risk Management program is documented and implemented. • Starting from the ZERO in the IH/Occ Health/Environmental programs.• Achieve minimum Legal Compliance.
